Road to 100 SaaS products with AI: Part 3

Generating new SaaS ideas

One of the challenges I'm currently facing is how to generate new SaaS ideas.

The main source of my SaaS ideas is my own problems. I enjoy thinking about how I could solve my own problems using web apps.

Building and using my own product (dogfooding) is also effective because it speeds up the feedback loop. I don't need to go out and find users to talk to. I just ask myself: would this feature be useful for solving my own problems?

Looking at my own problems has inspired me to create my first ten or so SaaS ideas.

However, I only have so many problems and goals. Moreover, I'm aiming to create 100 SaaS products. Therefore, I am now transitioning to a new method of idea generation: AI-generated ideas.

I will be using Claude Code, running on a Routine, to generate new SaaS ideas. Routines let you run a task on a schedule, e.g. every day. I will be using Claude Code to fetch the latest tech trends every day and to create new SaaS ideas using those trends. Afterwards, I will review the results and use my own judgment to decide which SaaS ideas have potential.

Follow along with this series to discover the ideas I generate using Claude. I'll use the ideas with the most potential to build new SaaS products.
